Recommended Cleaning Products
Although homemade cleaners are a great way to save money, sometimes a store-bought product just makes more sense than a homemade version of the same product. In such instances, we are likely to use the store-bought version.
Take vinegar for instance. Is there any benefit in making your own vinegar? For me, there isn't. I can buy a cheap, pure, and ready-made vinegar at the store for a lot less money than I can make my own. Therefore, I choose to buy store-bought vinegar. Another item you would probably not try and make yourself is washing soda. There are ways to make washing soda at home but they would not be economical unless you lived on a Trona deposit and could mine it yourself.
This recommended cleaner section of Home Hints will focus on cleaning products that we recommend because of one or more of the following reasons:
- We found the product to be a great value.
- We found the product to have superior performance.
- The manufacturer stands out in some way.
- The product is unique.
- The product has superior environmental friendliness.
